i know my future is important.
i know you care for me
and you want the best for me.
so does He.
and i know 'this' or 'there'
isn't where i'm supposed to be.

so please,
leave me to think,
to pray
and to commit.

i've only just started praying for about a month.
i have a few months more to go.
not that i'll expire if i don't get a job.

let me choose to please Him,
unless you want me to choose
to please you and then i'll drown in regret,
and we can start the whole dreaded cycle
all over again.

God help me.
